Our approach
Making the website easier to use
The site is being developed with keyboard navigation, visible focus states, semantic headings, descriptive links, responsive layouts and readable contrast in mind.
We also aim to avoid relying on colour alone to communicate important information and to respect reduced-motion preferences.

Keyboard navigation
A skip link allows keyboard users to move directly to the main content, with stronger visible focus styles.
Mobile navigation
The menu now exposes its open/closed state to assistive technology and can be closed using the Escape key.
Reduced motion
Animations and smooth scrolling are reduced when the visitor's device requests reduced motion.
