Before describing a formal church/ministry partnership, discuss:
1. What is the shared Christian purpose?
2. What activities are actually being agreed?
3. Who holds responsibility for governance and decision-making?
4. Who holds safeguarding responsibility for joint activity?
5. Are finance, insurance or data-sharing arrangements involved?
6. What public wording about the partnership is mutually agreed?
7. Does directory inclusion need to be clearly distinguished from partnership?
8. How can either party review or end the arrangement?
9. What contact points are authorised for future coordination?
10. Record any agreed next steps in a proportionate way.
