BRITAIN FOR CHRIST MULTILINGUAL TRANSLATION & GOSPEL INTEGRITY STANDARD Version 24 · 24 August 2026 PURPOSE Britain for Christ wants people to understand Christian faith across language barriers without presenting careless translation as biblical authority. 1. SCRIPTURE REMAINS THE AUTHORITY Translated explanatory wording does not replace Holy Scripture. Bible references are provided so readers can consult a trusted Bible translation in their language. Biblical Evidence Standard: Scripture first. Interpretation second. Application third. See Acts 17:11; 2 Timothy 3:14-17. 2. EXPLANATORY TRANSLATIONS ARE IDENTIFIED Version 24 Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu pages contain original Britain for Christ explanatory translations. They are not published Bible translations and do not claim official denominational translation status. 3. NO VERSE COPYING WITHOUT RIGHTS REVIEW The multilingual pages primarily reference Bible passages rather than reproducing lengthy translated Bible text. This protects both contextual reading and translation copyright. 4. THE TRINITY MUST NOT BE LOST IN TRANSLATION Core language pages preserve the historic Christian confession of one God — Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14. 5. THE GOSPEL MUST REMAIN CLEAR Translations should preserve the apostolic centre: Jesus Christ, His death for sins, resurrection, grace, repentance, faith and discipleship. 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Mark 1:14-15; Ephesians 2:8-10. 6. PRAYER IS NOT A FORMULA Translated prayers are suggested original prayers, not incantations and not guarantees of salvation or outcomes. Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 10:9-13. 7. ROMAN READING AIDS ARE ONLY AIDS Roman-script lines help some readers pronounce or follow Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu wording. They are not separate authoritative translations. 8. COMMUNITY LABELS ARE EVIDENCE-BASED The church directory does not infer ethnicity or language from names or appearance. Language/community labels are used only when public evidence explicitly supports them. 9. TRANSLATION CORRECTIONS ARE WELCOME A fluent Christian reader may identify a clearer, more natural or more faithful expression. The correct response is review and improvement, not defensiveness. 10. EXPANSION MUST BE RESPONSIBLE Britain for Christ should not add a language simply to appear international. A language should be added when meaningful content can be maintained with theological clarity, appropriate script direction, accessibility and reasonable confidence in translation quality.
