Before public outreach:
1. Pray together.
2. Agree a team leader, meeting point and finish time.
3. Work with appropriate local church leadership/accountability.
4. Know the Gospel message you are seeking to communicate.
5. Be respectful, peaceful and willing to listen.
6. Do not pressure, harass or obstruct people.
7. Protect privacy and do not photograph people without appropriate permission.
8. Have clear safeguarding arrangements where children or vulnerable people may be involved.
9. Know how to signpost people to healthy local church fellowship.
10. Follow up only where the person has invited further contact.
