DISCOVERABILITY, ACCESSIBILITY & REACH STANDARD

PURPOSE
Britain for Christ wants people to be able to find, understand and use its Christian resources.
Discoverability should serve people and truth rather than manipulate search engines.

1. TRUTH BEFORE RANKING
We will not invent statistics, testimonies, reviews, events, endorsements or ministry claims to improve search visibility.
Biblical principle: Ephesians 4:25; Proverbs 12:22.

2. USEFUL CONTENT BEFORE KEYWORD PAGES
Pages should exist because they help a real visitor, not merely because a phrase may receive search traffic.
Version 23 therefore adds Christianity Explained as a substantive biblical resource rather than creating hundreds of thin search-target pages.

3. ACCURATE PAGE TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS
Titles and descriptions should explain what the page contains.
They should not promise outcomes the page cannot deliver.

4. STRUCTURED DATA MUST MATCH VISIBLE CONTENT
Search-engine structured data should describe real page content.
We will not mark up fabricated reviews, ratings, events, organisations or FAQs that visitors cannot actually see.

5. INTERNAL SEARCH RESULTS
Internal search is designed for visitors. Search-query pages should not be used to create thousands of low-value indexable URLs.

6. ACCESSIBILITY IS PART OF REACH
Reach includes people using:
- keyboards;
- screen readers;
- magnification;
- larger text;
- higher contrast;
- reduced motion;
- mobile and small-screen devices.
Accessibility preferences are stored locally in the visitor's browser.

7. BIBLICAL INTEGRITY
Search-friendly Christian explanations remain subject to the same Biblical Evidence Standard as the rest of the website:
Scripture first. Interpretation second. Application third.

8. CHURCH DIRECTORY DISCOVERABILITY
The public directory may be searchable by place, denomination and explicitly documented community/language focus.
Directory inclusion is not accreditation or endorsement.
Public directory data excludes email addresses and internal outreach fields.

9. COMMUNITY AND ETHNICITY
Britain for Christ does not infer ethnicity from a church name, leader name or appearance.
Community/language labels are used only where public information explicitly supports them.

10. NO GUARANTEE OF SEARCH RANKING
Search engines independently decide crawling, indexing and ranking.
Technical improvements may make a site easier to understand but do not guarantee that a page will be indexed or appear in a particular position.

11. HUMAN NAVIGATION REMAINS IMPORTANT
The website maintains:

- site search
- a human-readable Site Map
- clear internal links
so that visitors are not dependent on external search engines.

12. MACHINE-READABLE SUPPORT
The site provides:
- robots.txt
- sitemap.xml
- RSS feed
- structured WebSite/WebPage data
- llms.txt as a supplemental project guide
These files describe the site; they do not create authority or guarantee discovery.
